TITAN · MANAGED IT & SECURITY FOR SMALL BUSINESS

Someone has to own the technology.

Core secures it. Pro runs it and answers your people. Elite owns the plan and proves the controls. Already have an IT person? Co‑Managed is a different arrangement.

WHAT THIS IS

Managed IT services for Twin Cities small business

TiTAN is managed IT services for companies of roughly ten to a hundred people across the Twin Cities metro — the ones with no IT department, or with one person who is already underwater. Every tier below carries the same security stack. What changes is who does the work.

Managed IT services done properly means somebody else owns the boring, continuous parts: patching, monitoring, identity, backup, the vendor renewals nobody put on a calendar, and the ticket your office manager has been sitting on for a week. It is not a help desk you call once something breaks. It is the reason fewer things break.

If you would rather find out what you actually have before buying anything, the CIO Review is a flat-fee two-week assessment and you keep the plan either way. If security is the reason you are here, how we handle it is written out separately.

WHAT EACH ONE IS

Same protection in all three. The difference is who does the work.

Core

We watch it.
The foundation

Your machines are patched, monitored and watched around the clock by a real security operations team. When something happens, you hear it from us — not from a customer.

No help desk. One contact opens tickets. When something triggers, we fix it and bill straight time at $195/hr — capped so you never pay more in a month than Pro would cost you, which is $893 at ten seats. Hit that cap two months running and we move you to Pro, because at that point Pro is cheaper for you.

For businesses on Microsoft 365 Business Standard. Standard licensing can’t carry the identity controls Pro and Elite are built on, so this is where those businesses start.

Pro

We run it.
Everything in Core +

Your people get somewhere to go — and an answer in minutes, not a callback tomorrow. Backup, identity protection, unlimited support, and once a year we sit down and look at the whole thing.

Most businesses belong here.

Runs on Microsoft 365 Business Premium. On Standard today? We make the switch during onboarding.

Elite

We plan it.
Everything in Pro +

The part nobody else sells: quarterly reviews, an IT budget and roadmap, a continuity plan that actually gets tested, and your vendors managed. Eight hours a quarter go to whatever actually needs fixing — automation, a migration, the security questionnaire your biggest customer just sent you.

And the compliance half: your controls mapped to whatever you actually have to answer to — CMMC, HIPAA, CIS, or your cyber insurance questionnaire. Evidence collected year-round, not reconstructed the week before someone asks.

Getting compliant the first time is a project. Keeping you compliant is Elite. We implement and document — we don’t certify. For CMMC that’s a C3PAO, and we’ll tell you which ones to call.

Runs on Microsoft 365 Business Premium, same as Pro.

Your IT person keeps the help desk. We keep the security stack behind them — and they get someone senior to escalate to when they hit the edge of what they know.

  • Managed EDR, 24/7 security operations
  • Security awareness training
  • Patch management
  • Backup for endpoints and Microsoft 365

  • Monthly report

No help desk — support billed at $225/hr. Sites priced separately.

Managed servers — $250/month on-prem · $125/month cloud Priced per server instance, not per box. Monitoring, patching, EDR, image-level backup, remote fixes. Cloud costs half because half the risk goes away — no hardware to fail, no box to replace. Every on-prem server gets a retirement plan. You should know what it costs you.
Sites — one on Core, two on Pro and Elite · $195/month each after Firewall, switches and access points. Monitoring, firmware, config backup, remote changes. Cloud-managed gear only. Your modem stays your internet provider’s problem. Config backups, a cold spare and cellular failover are available per site — so a dead firewall is a swap, not a lost day.

Elite includes everything in Pro — it is not an add-on. A 25-person company on Elite pays $4,795 + 10 × $279 = $7,585/month, two sites included. Elite carries two things that do not scale with headcount — the CIO seat and the compliance program — which is why it includes more seats than the other tiers, and why a smaller company pays more per seat than a larger one. The work is the same size either way.

Have a website? We monitor and manage those too — uptime, updates, backups, security and managed hosting, on plans from $129 a month. See web management.

HOW SUPPORT ACTUALLY WORKS

Unlimited tickets. Not unlimited work.

On Pro and Elite, anything broken in your environment is covered, uncapped. Logins, Outlook, printers, slow machines, passwords, a laptop that won’t wake up. Call as often as you need during business hours.

What isn’t included is anything new — migrations, an office buildout, a new application, a server replacement. Those get quoted as projects, so you always know the number before it starts.

The line is simple: if it’s broken, it’s covered. If it doesn’t exist yet, it’s a project.

Unlimited means unlimited. If one company’s support hours run far above normal two months running, we’ll sit down and work out why — it’s usually aging hardware or an application nobody ever fixed. That’s a conversation and a fix, not a penalty.

Work outside the plan

Co-Managed$225/hr
Core$195/hr
Registered 501(c)(3), any tier$155/hr
After hours, scheduled1.8×
After hours, unscheduled (emergency)2.5×
Minimums and increments

One-hour minimum during business hours, two hours after hours, then billed to the minute. Co-Managed hours are escalation hours — you call us for what your own team could not finish, and that is priced accordingly.

Onsite

Support is remote first, and that’s a design choice rather than a limitation. Almost nothing that breaks needs someone in the room — and the things that do, we engineer so they don’t cost you a day: config backups, a cold spare on the shelf, cellular failover when the line drops. A dead firewall is a swap, not a site visit.

When someone does need to be there, onsite is scheduled by appointment and billed at your tier rate, two-hour minimum, within 30 miles of Woodbury. Beyond that, travel bills at the same rate. On Elite, your eight hours a quarter can go to onsite instead of projects — your call.

What we don’t sell is same-day or 24/7 onsite. A promise like that is only worth something the night it gets tested, and we’d rather tell you now than fail you then.

PROJECTS

Some of it is bigger than a ticket.

You saw the rule above. This is what the second half looks like in practice: a server room at end of life. A second location. Two companies merging systems after an acquisition. A Microsoft 365 tenant rebuilt properly instead of patched again. A compliance program stood up because a customer contract now requires one. Recovery work after an incident.

Projects are scoped and quoted with a fixed number and an end date. The price is the scope, not the hours — the hourly rates cover work outside your plan, not work this size. Out-of-plan work runs $175/hr on Pro and $155/hr on Elite — though on those tiers anything broken is already covered, so these only apply to work that falls outside the plan entirely.

Not sure which one you have

Most people are not, and that is a reasonable place to start. The CIO Review is two weeks at a fixed fee, and it ends with a written scope and a number, so you know what you are buying before you buy it.

If you already know what you need, skip it and book twenty minutes. We will scope the project directly.

Book 20 Minutes

HOURS AND EMERGENCIES

When we work, and what counts as an emergency.

5 rules

What counts as an emergency. Something we manage is down for the whole company, or there is an active security incident. That is the entire list. Anything else waits for the next business day at your normal rate.

What does not. An internet outage is your ISP. A phone outage is your carrier. A Microsoft outage is theirs. We do not own those relationships and cannot restore a service we do not run — vendor management means we hold the account and push the vendor during business hours, which is not the same as owning the service. One person unable to work is not an emergency either, including the owner’s email on their phone.

Unlimited is a business-hours promise. An unscheduled after-hours call bills at 2.5× your tier rate on every plan, Elite included. That multiplier is priced the way a speeding ticket is priced — to make you ask whether it can wait until morning. When it genuinely cannot, call anyway.

If you run shifts, your hours are different. Second shift is not “after hours” when that is when the plant is running. For multi-shift operations we set your covered window in the agreement and price it into the monthly. After-hours rates apply outside your window, not outside ours.

One exception, and we mean it. If a disaster hits — fire, flood, a tornado, anything that puts people at risk rather than servers — we are not going to be looking at the clock. Call us. We will help you work your continuity plan and sort the invoice out afterward. That is not a service level we can promise and not something we will put a rate on. It is just how we do business.

ADD-ON

Continuity, scoped by how fast you need to be back

How it is priced

Backup for endpoints and Microsoft 365 is already in Pro and Elite. This is for servers — the machines that carry the business, where the question is never whether a copy exists. It is how long you are down while it comes back.

What it costs depends on how many machines carry the business and how fast they have to come back. We scope that with you and quote per protected server — your recovery time and recovery point targets go into the agreement as numbers, so “we will get you back up” is something you can hold us to.

Requires Pro or Elite. We do not sell continuity for an environment we do not manage. If we hold the backups while somebody else owns patching, identity and endpoints, we carry the blame for a failure we were never in a position to prevent. That is not a deal we will take.

THE STACK

What we actually run.

Most MSPs won’t tell you what’s under the hood. Here it is. Every one of these runs inside Cybertitans before it runs anything of yours.

Huntress — managed detection and response

A 24/7 security operations center staffed by actual analysts. When something moves at two in the morning, a person looks at it and makes the call. That is not something a company our size can staff, and we don’t pretend otherwise — we buy it from people who do it at scale.

NordLayer — zero-trust network access

Replaces the VPN nobody has maintained since the person who set it up left. Your people reach what their job needs and nothing else, in the office or out of it.

NordPass — password management

Shared logins and reused passwords are how small businesses actually get breached. It’s the least interesting item on this list and the one that closes the most doors.

Microsoft 365 — identity, email and files

The tenant is where most small businesses actually live, and it ships wide open by default. Hardening identity, mail flow and sharing is the first thing we do, and the thing most inherited setups have never had done.

HuntressNordLayerNordPass

Cybertitans is a Huntress MSP partner, a Nord MSP partner, and a Microsoft partner. We resell some of this. If a product lands in your findings, we say so and tell you what we make on it — buy it through us, through your MSP, or direct from the vendor, and the recommendation reads the same either way.

TERMS

No long lock-in, and the price you sign is the price you keep.

12-month price lock

Your rate does not move for a full year. Not for any reason. Changing tiers is a separate decision we make together, and we only ever recommend it when it saves you money.

90 days’ notice

Twelve-month term, then leave with three months’ notice any time after month six. It works the same in both directions.

Pay annually, get more

One month free and your price locked for two years instead of one.

Elite’s eight project hours are per quarter and don’t roll over — we’ll tell you at each review what’s left and what it’s worth spending on. If Core support hits its monthly cap two months running, we move you to Pro at the next billing cycle — and we will have told you after the first month, so the second is never a surprise. Your term, your notice period and your end date do not change. When the term ends, you renew as a Pro client at Pro pricing. After the first year, pricing rises 4% at renewal. We publish that instead of surprising you with a correction in year four.

Twenty minutes tells you which one you need.

No pitch. We look at what you’re running, what it costs you today, and which tier actually fits. If it’s none of them, you’ll hear that too.

COMMON QUESTIONS

The questions people ask before they call.

Do I have to book a call to see pricing?

No. Every tier and what it includes is on this page.

What is the difference between the tiers?

Every tier runs the same security stack. What changes is how much of our time is included and how fast we respond.

What happens when our headcount changes?

Onboarding and offboarding people is covered support, not a project. Your price lock holds the seat price, so growth is simply the per-seat rate — $89 on Core, $179 on Pro, $279 on Elite, $69 on Co-Managed. If you shrink, you come back down to the seats included in your plan and no further: ten on Core, Pro and Co-Managed, fifteen on Elite. The included seats are the floor, in writing, so nobody is guessing later.

Is support really unlimited?

Tickets are, and so is routine work, including onboarding and offboarding staff. A project is something that does not exist yet — a new system, a migration, a buildout. Adding people is not a project.

What are your hours?

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. After-hours work is billed at a multiple.

How far do you travel onsite?

Thirty miles from Woodbury, and that is in the contract.

How long is the contract?

Twelve months, with a 12-month price lock. The lock holds your seat price, not a fixed total — so it moves with your headcount in both directions, down to the seats included in your plan. After month six you can leave on 90 days notice, and it works the same in both directions. Pay annually and you get a month free with the price locked for two years.
